Permit Advisor

About the Position

Do you want to contribute to the energy transition and the infrastructure of tomorrow? As a Permit Advisor at TMC, you are the link that makes projects possible by successfully managing complex permit processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support the project team in permit procedures, with a focus on risk management and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate permit applications, including preparing and submitting the required documents.
• Assess permit applications for feasibility, regulations, and legal requirements, and involve internal and external experts when necessary.
• Verify whether the required documents and studies align with the legal requirements for an acceptable permit application.
• Maintain contact with involved parties, such as competent national authorities, water boards, and environmental agencies, and act proactively.
• Keep the permit register up to date and actively manage timely issuance in relation to project planning.

Requirements

• A completed higher professional education (HBO), for example in Architecture, (environmental) law, spatial planning, public administration, or a comparable field of study.
• Experience with permit management in large-scale projects and knowledge of laws and regulations regarding underground infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience with digital systems, such as Wabo, Water Act, GIS, and OLO.
• Creativity in connecting and solution-oriented thinking, as well as aligning diverse interests.
• Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.

• Permanent employment contract, with a gross monthly salary of €3,000 to €4,000+, depending on experience.
