About the Position
We are looking for a PHP Developer with 1+ years of experience to join our team in Kyiv or Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in PHP 5/7, MySQL, Yii2, and jQuery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP
- Work with MySQL databases
- Utilize Yii2 framework for application development
- Implement front-end functionalities using jQuery
- Ensure code quality and performance
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in PHP development
- Proficiency in PHP 5/7 and MySQL
- Experience with Yii2 framework
- Knowledge of jQuery
- Profound knowledge of UNIX-systems (including LAMP setup)
- Knowledge of basic programming algorithms (sorting, search, etc)
- Familiarity with HTML / CSS
- Understanding of OOP, MVC
- Experience with Git
Nice to Have
- Experience in other programming languages
- Knowledge of third-party APIs and services like Google APIs, PayPal, Stripe, etc
- Understanding of the DI concept
- Experience of working with Docker
- Understanding and experience of working with SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI
