PHP Developer (Symfony)

About the Position

Brainstack, a Ukrainian multi-product IT company, is looking for a PHP Developer (Symfony) with 1+ years of experience in commercial development to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine. Remote work is available.

Brainstack specializes in developing cross-platform applications in areas such as Parental Control, Wellness Ecosystem, Lifestyle, Crypto & Blockchain.

Responsibilities

• Development of new back-end services
• Support of existing web services and creation of new ones
• Refactoring legacy code (from monolith to microservices)
• Writing Unit tests

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in commercial development
• Experience with PHP7-8, Symfony3-6
• Experience with REST web services and API
• Experience with MySQL (querying, relationships, and database optimization)
• Experience with microservices and monoliths
• Knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns, understanding of SOLID
• Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis

• Knowledge of Node.js
