PHP Engineer

About the Position

We are always interested in connecting with experienced PHP Engineers who are open to new opportunities. We work with a range of clients across industries such as banking, finance, telecommunications, e-commerce, and other enterprise environments, helping them build, modernize, and maintain scalable backend systems and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Web application development and implementation
• Maintaining and improving existing systems
• REST API development and implementation
• Working with the development team
• Ensuring code quality
• Agile development

Requirements

• PHP (at least 3-4 years) and can write clean, maintainable code
• Previous project's collaboration within international or local (CZ/SK) teams with in areas such as banking/telco/industrial/automotive/energy
• Knowledge of frameworks - Laravel or Symfony
• Intermediate to Advanced English
• Fluent Czech or Slovak
• Front-end basics (HTML, CSS etc) and orientation in databases
• Experience with Git and Agile mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with REST APIs
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• DevOps mindset (Docker, Jenkins)
