PHP Engineer

About the Position

We are always interested in connecting with experienced PHP Engineers who are open to new opportunities. We work with a range of clients across industries such as banking, finance, telecommunications, e-commerce, and other enterprise environments, helping them build, modernize, and maintain scalable backend systems and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Web application development and implementation
• Maintaining and improving existing systems
• REST API development and implementation
• Working with the development team
• Ensuring code quality
• Agile development

Requirements

• PHP: At least 3-4 years of experience and ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Frameworks: Experience with Laravel or Symfony
• Languages: Intermediate to Advanced English and Fluent Czech or Slovak
• Collaboration: Previous project's collaboration within international or local (CZ/SK) teams
• Tools: Experience with Git and Agile mindset

Nice to Have

• REST APIs: Experience working with APIs to integrate with other services
• JavaScript: Knowledge of JavaScript
• DevOps: Understanding of DevOps tools like Docker or Jenkins
