Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP, supporting core call center functionalities such as task management and call handling.
Work on scalable and distributed systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of backend solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Owner, frontend developers, testers, and the Tech Lead to deliver backlog items in line with SAFe principles.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions aligned with product and architectural standards.
Maintain and enhance existing functionalities, including bug fixing, performance optimization, and production support.
Contribute to code quality through code reviews, refactoring, and adherence to best engineering practices.

Requirements

3+ years of experience with PHP 7.x/8.x
Proficiency in a major PHP framework (such as Symfony, Laravel, or Slim)
Hands-on experience with REST API design and development
Experience writing automated tests with PHPUnit
Familiarity with the Linux command line (basic level required)
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
English proficiency at a B2+ level (communicative)
Ready to work from the office twice a week (Gdańsk Oliwa - Alchemia)
Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD Pipelines
Strong attention to detail
Analytical thinking
Good communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ
Knowledge of visualization tools like Kibana or Grafana
