Responsibilities
- Contribute to the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
- Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts, etc.
- Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in the product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.
- Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.
- Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's/PhD degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.
- Less than 5 years of experience (including internships), ideally in trading systems, backend product, fintech, quant, or platform roles.
- Strong understanding of trading fundamentals such as order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management concepts.
- Strong logical thinking and ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.
- Comfortable working with data and technical teams; experience with SQL/Python/Excel is a strong plus.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
