Citi is looking for Placement Analyst to join the Investment Banking team in Frankfurt in 2027. The Investment Banking Team provides strategic advice to corporate and financial sponsor clients in Germany on private and public M&A and capital markets transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting; and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse company information to assist transactions; including conducting industry research; revising; and organizing financial data
- Analyse financial data and develop financial models including company valuations; discounted cash flow analysis; financing; and comparative analyses
- Create and finalize new business development presentations
- Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams
- Prepare required internal documentation e.g. control and compliance regulations
- Use AI-powered tools appropriately to support research, financial analysis, and presentations
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Currently pursuing a degree within Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar
- Excellent university grades and first working experience through an internship or working student position within Banking, Consulting, Audit or Transaction Advisory
- Enjoy working in a team
- Available to start in 2027 for a 3-month internship
We Offer
- Competitive salary range: €56,000.00 - €90,000.00
- Opportunity to join the Investment Banking Full Time Analyst programme in the following year for top performers
