PLC & Industrial Automation Software Engineer (Germany)

About the Position

BrainSource Network is hiring a PLC & Industrial Automation Software Engineer for our industrial automation projects in Germany. Join our team to develop and commission automation software.

Responsibilities

• Software architecture and development for programmable logic controllers (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or Rockwell).
• HMI and SCADA visualization development (WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Virtual commissioning, simulation, and on-site integration of automated lines and robotic cells.
• Debugging fieldbus communications (Profinet, Profibus, EtherCAT, IO-Link).

Requirements

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on PLC programming experience in industrial automation projects.
• Good English (B2) and conversational German (B1) or willingness to learn.
• Readiness for project commissioning phases.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other industrial automation tools and systems.
