What Awaits You

The 3DEXPERIENCE Solution Architect is responsible for the conception, implementation, and optimization of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dassault Systèmes for our customers. This role acts as a technical leader, ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust, scalable technical solutions and enabling digital transformation across engineering, manufacturing, and business processes.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Integration:

• Definition and architecture of PLM solutions based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (e.g., ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA, EXALEAD) to meet business and technical requirements through customization, configuration, workflow design, data modeling, and development of user interfaces.
• Seamless integration of PLM solutions with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Development and communication of a clear architecture vision and roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and stakeholder needs.
• Continuous training on industry trends and new technologies, as well as consulting on best practices in the PLM area and Dassault Systèmes methodologies to optimize customer solutions and project outcomes.

Technical Leadership of the PLM Solution:

• Leadership of the functional and technical design process from requirements management to rollout and operation, including effective risk management throughout the project life cycle.
• Quality management: Ensuring that project outcomes meet expectations regarding quality, cost, and timeframe, as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation and considering security and compliance standards.
• Continuous improvement: Identifying and recommending improvements to increase the robustness, usability, and maintainability of the solution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in defining, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT and PLM solutions.
• Verifiable, current experience in integrating the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and dealing with business processes in the PLM environment and technical integration, including practical experience.
• In-depth expertise in Dassault Systèmes technologies (3DEXPERIENCE, ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA, EXALEAD) and a solid understanding of operating models (On-Premise, SaaS Public, SaaS Private).
• Proven ability to technically lead solution-building teams and collaborate efficiently across organizational boundaries.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent documentation skills, especially in creating architecture diagrams according to standards such as ARCHIMATE, UML, or comparable tools.

Communication skills, proactive approach, and service orientation are just as important to us as technical expertise. Therefore, we also expect travel readiness, very good German and English language skills (C1 level).

Preferred, but Not Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience and/or certifications in other PLM products (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, ARAS, Siemens NX) and their integration and customization.
• Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ISAQB).
• Experience or certification in agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience or certification in the cloud area (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx).
• Certification in IT service management (e.g., ITIL Foundation or equivalent).
