About the Position
We are seeking a PM / Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering to join our international projects team.
Responsibilities
- Realization of assigned projects according to project calculations, contracts, and timelines
- Prioritizing customer focus
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project cycle from start to finish
- Serving as a proactive leader/problem solver to address complex problems and situations as they arise
- Solving multi-complex technical problems and managing multidisciplinary, highly specialized design teams working in foreign organizational networks (during the project implementation phase)
- Actively supporting procurement in creating and reviewing detailed technical specifications for subcontractor and supplier shipments
- Managing project documentation and managerial reporting
- Collaborating with the procurement department to secure subcontracts within the project
- Collaborating with the design department to develop the technical solution for orders
- Communicating with customers and subcontractors throughout the project
- Collaborating with the sales department to secure orders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering
- Fluent English (minimum B2), German or other languages are advantageous
- Previous experience in project management in the mechanical engineering industry (minimum 3-5 years)
- Interest in working primarily on international projects
- PMP certification is highly advantageous
- Interpersonal and communication skills with proven leadership abilities in creating unified and motivated project teams
- Ability to communicate with all members of the organization in a professional, calm, courteous, and respectful manner
- High degree of personal integrity and process orientation
- Organizational and communication skills, independence, logical thinking
- Ability to work hard, stress resistance
- Knowledge of project management tools MS Project and SAP is advantageous
- Basic understanding of standards and the ability to apply and comply with them
- Knowledge of working in AutoCAD at least in 2D
- Ability to read drawing documentation
- Knowledge of working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel to construction sites, mainly abroad
- Driver's license B, active driver
- Criminal record check
