The PMA Cost Reduction Pilot leads and coordinates cost reduction initiatives on a vehicle sub-system or a family of components.

This role transforms optimization ideas into concrete, planned, and executable projects, ensuring coordination between technical teams, procurement, and program teams.

The role acts as an operational pivot, guaranteeing effective implementation, monitoring economic gains, and respecting the deployment deadlines of optimization actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and structure cost reduction opportunities on a vehicle sub-system or a family of components.
• Transform optimization ideas into concrete projects with planning, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead the implementation of cost reduction actions in coordination with engineering, procurement, and program teams.
• Analyze mechatronic modules and components to identify technical or industrial optimization paths.
• Monitor economic gains, report, and escalate risks or blockages.
• Ensure compliance with the deadlines and cost reduction objectives defined by the program.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in the automotive or mobility industry.
• Skills:
  • Development of mechatronic modules or components.
  • Cost reduction / value engineering.
  • Technical coordination or project management.
  • Advanced Excel / tracking gains.
  • PLM / BOM management.
  • CAD, BOM, technical specifications reading and understanding.
