- Write backend code in Go within a large, production-grade codebase - learning established patterns and conventions under the guidance of senior engineers and tech leads.
- Build and maintain automated test suites and evaluation frameworks to validate system behavior, helping the team catch regressions and ensure correctness as the product evolves.
- Explore and prototype AI/LLM-powered tooling to assist with development workflows - such as automated test generation, code analysis utilities, or documentation assistants.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers - attending design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews as a participant, gaining exposure to how large-scale distributed systems are architected and delivered.
- Ramp up on modern backend and cloud engineering practices including distributed systems concepts, event-driven architecture, multi-tenant SaaS design, and cloud infrastructure.
