About the Position
Portrait Of A Basketball Player
We are seeking a talented actor for a deeply dramatic role as a basketball player in a mini-series. This role requires strong acting skills and some basketball knowledge. The character, Cameron, starts with happiness and hope but faces deceit, duplicity, envy, and obsession on his journey to becoming a #1 draft pick. The role demands the actor to immerse deeply into the character and nail the dramatic levels.
Responsibilities
- Portray a deeply dramatic character in a mini-series
- Immerse into the character of Cameron, a basketball player
- Navigate through themes of deceit, duplicity, envy, and obsession
- Learn and demonstrate some basketball knowledge (training included)
Requirements
- Acting: Strong acting skills, particularly in dramatic roles
- Athletic Type: Suitable physical build for a basketball player
- Basketball Knowledge: Basic understanding of basketball (training provided)
We Offer
- Salary: $1900 per filming day for the series and $300 per day for teasers
- Location: New York City
- Start Date: 08/01/2026
