About the Position

The Pervasive Wireless Systems Group at IMDEA Networks, led by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the areas of embedded systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and wireless communications.

Responsibilities

Contribute to cutting-edge experimental research on Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) for UAVs
Design, implement, and evaluate embedded communication platforms and research prototypes
Combine embedded hardware and software development, wireless experimentation, and UAV-based prototyping

Requirements

Solid background in embedded systems
Experience with UAVs, robotics, or autonomous platforms
Strong publication track record
Experience designing and building research prototypes
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
Very good organization and communication skills
Proficiency in English

Academic Qualifications

PhD degree in telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, or similar

Contract Conditions

12 months, renewable based on performance and funding sources
Full-time
