You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance, and visualization come together. Together, we help clients extract more value from their data: from setting up the right data foundations to building dashboards, analytics solutions, and AI use cases that support better decision-making.

As a Power BI Consultant, you will contribute by transforming business questions and complex data into clear reports, strong data models, and dashboards that help people make better decisions.

You will work on BI projects throughout the entire reporting lifecycle. You will collect and transform data from various sources, build sustainable data models, optimize datasets for reporting, and develop user-friendly Power BI dashboards. Based on your expertise and the Sopra Steria BI methodology, you will help improve the quality, usability, and reliability of reporting environments for our clients.

In addition to dashboard development, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and other BI consultants to translate business needs into clear KPIs, reporting logic, and visual insights. You will apply best practices in modeling, DAX, visualization, and deployment, while further developing your technical expertise within the team.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex data into clear insights and dashboards
• Collect and transform data from various sources
• Build sustainable data models
• Optimize datasets for reporting
• Develop user-friendly Power BI dashboards
• Translate business needs into clear KPIs and visual insights
• Apply best practices in modeling, DAX, visualization, and deployment

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Power Query (M)
• Ability to develop DAX measures and build intuitive reports
• Experience with external Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio
• Ability to design and implement data models according to star schema principles
• Fluent communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management, dataset publishing, content sharing, and Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Proficiency in English and Dutch/French

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Azure Databricks or other modern Azure data platforms
• A portfolio of dashboards
