Power BI Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Power BI Developer with advanced knowledge in Power BI Semantic Modelling and DAX calculations to join our BI Engineering team in Bucharest, Romania.

Responsibilities

• Implement a CI/CD pipeline in Power BI
• Analyse and validate existing report or data model in Tableau, SAP Business Objects
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and report designs
• Design and build semantic models and datasets in Power BI (i.e. star schemas, dimensions, and facts)
• Create, manage and publish paginated and interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI. This includes creating interactive visualizations, implementing filters and slicers, and leveraging Power BI's advanced visualization capabilities to enhance the user experience
• Supervising the Power BI team; at times two additional Power BI developers are assigned to it

Requirements

• Must have

  • Power BI Semantic Modelling
  • Dimensional modelling
  • Data model optimisation
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX calculations
  • Incremental refresh
  • Building multi-lingual models (CMS)
  • Power BI Reports
  • Interactive Reports (including highly formatted tables and matrices)
  • Paginated Reports (advanced knowledge required!)

• Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD in Power BI
  • Experience with SAP BO migrations
  • Experience with Tableau
