About the Position
Power BI Developer
Up to £45,000
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to support the development, optimisation, and governance of modern data and analytics solutions within a growing UK analytics consultancy. Sitting within an expanding analytics practice, this role is central to delivering trusted, scalable, and high-quality insight products that enable organisations to make faster, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimise Power BI semantic models
- Develop high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards, including advanced DAX measures and calculations
- Apply best practices across data modelling, performance optimisation, and governance
- Support analytics users and troubleshoot issues across deployed insight products
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in analytics standards, processes, and methodologies
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with Power BI (data ingestion, modelling, DAX)
- Solid understanding of data modelling, star schema design, and semantic layer principles
- Proven ability to create scalable, efficient analytical models and performance reports
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate user requirements into actionable designs
