About the Position
Power BI Developer (Birmingham)
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer for a contract role in Birmingham, focusing on data visualization and analysis using Azure and Databricks. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, driving standards and improving delivery within a complex, evolving setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead approximately 30 engineers across multiple squads
- Drive delivery, standards, and best practices
- Provide leadership across distributed teams
- Align engineering output with business objectives
- Support and challenge team leads and managers
Requirements
- Proven Head of Data or Engineering / senior leadership experience
- Strong background in data-led environments
- Experience managing large, distributed teams
- Ability to drive engineering standards and challenge effectively
- Exposure to .Net environments
- Knowledge of SQL-based systems, Databricks, and Azure
- Experience delivering in cloud environments
Salary
- £500 to £650 GBP per hour
