About the Role
As part of our Data Protection Law team, you will take on tasks related to advising our existing clients. Through diverse projects on data protection and compliance topics, we offer you a comprehensive insight into these professional fields. In close collaboration with your mentor, you will conduct examinations of data protection law issues, draft corresponding opinions, and prepare information, e.g., on legal changes, fines, or official statements, for internal and external company purposes. Additionally, you will be involved in the examination and creation of data protection contract drafts, data protection policies and declarations, training materials, data processing activity inventories, and balancing of interests. Depending on the need, you will carry out your activities in the home office, in our Herford office, via digital meetings, or on-site at the client.
Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations of data protection law issues
- Draft corresponding opinions
- Prepare information on legal changes, fines, or official statements
- Create data protection contract drafts, policies, and declarations
- Develop training materials, data processing activity inventories, and balancing of interests
Requirements
- Ongoing studies in Law or Business Law
- Result-oriented and meticulous work approach
- Interest in all areas of IT
- Excellent proficiency in common MS Office programs
- Ability to think entrepreneurially
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer interaction
- Openness to new, innovative topics and a perspective beyond one's own area of expertise
- Fluent in German and English
- Flexibility
