At the Bosch Engineering Center Linz, we develop software and hardware for the powertrain and components for the sustainable and climate-neutral energy economy for our international customers. We also support the organization in software development through qualification measures, consulting, and direct involvement of our experts in strategically important digitalization projects.

Responsibilities

• You will design the next generation of innovative valve solutions.
• In a modern 3D-CAD environment, you will develop technical concepts and contribute your ideas.
• Together with our experts from simulation and testing, you will optimize existing and new solutions.
• The design, construction, and calculation of components are within your area of responsibility.
• You will prepare and present results in an understandable manner in an international environment.
• You will work with our manufacturing plants on economical and production-friendly product solutions.
• With your expertise, you will help bring innovative products to successful series production.

Requirements

• Personality: You are cooperative, communicative, enthusiastic, enjoy working in a motivated team, and show initiative.
• Experience and Know-how: Initial experience with technical drawings and construction guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Education: Ongoing technical studies at a University of Applied Sciences or University (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Automation Engineering, etc.) and enrollment throughout the internship period.
• Languages: Fluent in German and English.

Additional Information

• Start: From December 2026
• Duration: Minimum of 12 months – from 20 hours/week
• Requirement: Enrollment throughout the entire internship period
