Pre-Sales Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the growth of the application ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, partners, and external development teams, guiding them through the integration of third-party applications and solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Sales, and Business Development teams, providing technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process, supporting partner onboarding, and helping ensure solutions meet technical, quality, and certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, partners, and external development teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Sales, and Business Development teams.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process.
• Support partner onboarding.
• Ensure solutions meet technical, quality, and certification requirements.

Requirements

• Around 3 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Solutions, Developer Relations, Software Integration, or a similar customer-facing technical role within a software, SaaS, or technology environment.
• Good knowledge of Android application development. Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), embedded Android platforms, or automotive infotainment systems is valued.
• Experience working with SDKs and APIs, with the ability to understand technical specifications and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation, such as integration guides, API documentation, onboarding resources, and developer-facing materials.
• Understanding of software certification and quality assurance practices, including reviewing issues and providing technical recommendations when needed.
• Knowledge of the mobile application development lifecycle and the considerations involved in adapting applications for automotive environments.
• Experience working with external software development teams, gathering technical requirements, and supporting the validation of deliverables against platform expectations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with app publishers, OEM partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable supporting customer-facing activities, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept discussions, and RFX processes alongside Sales and Business Development teams.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and connected vehicle technologies is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English.
