Presales Consultant

About the Position

We are looking for a Presales Consultant to join our team in Austin and play a crucial role in winning sales opportunities by solving our partner’s most complex problems. You will be a key contributor of the presales function within the North American region, helping achieve growth objectives while consulting closely with our product, sales, and delivery teams to design solutions that we can deliver efficiently and with quality.

As a Presales Consultant, your success will be driven by an ability to understand customer requirements, showcase the Wise Platform value proposition, and earn the trust of key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Present our products and vision to executives & technical teams at FinTechs and strategic enterprise partners. Become their trusted advisor.
• Drive revenue alongside the business development team, being a key stakeholder in the sales process from discovery and solution design through to implementation kickoff.
• Utilize a deep understanding of Wise Platform products and the payments domain to tailor solutions for partners, finding a match between our technology and their requirements.
• Work on sales collateral, demos, proof of concepts, RFPs, and any other material to help get potential deals over the line.
• Ensure the viability of solutions by testing and documenting an end-to-end solution.
• Share customer feedback to the product teams in Wise Platform to drive roadmaps in order to create more opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in presales or similar sales engineering roles related to payments, banking, or fintech.
• Proven track record achieving commercial targets by leveraging consultative and solution-based sales skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience in effective collaboration within or alongside complex enterprise customers, demonstrating a strong grasp of their challenges and needs.
• Experience with REST APIs and payments, especially in the context of technical sales and solution design.

• Competitive salary: USD 180,000 - USD 220,000 yearly
