🌟 At RDT, we are looking for a Pressure Parts Designer with experience in SolidWorks in Madrid to join international projects in the energy sector, participating in the design and development of pressure equipment for power generation plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs of pressure parts for thermal power plants and energy generation projects.
• Prepare technical studies, 3D models, and blueprints for boiler and pressure equipment.
• Create general arrangement designs for boilers and associated systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and material take-offs.
• Review and verify manufacturing plans and technical documentation from suppliers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure proper integration of designs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual specifications, applicable regulations, and internal procedures.
• Provide technical support to the Project Engineering Manager during various project phases.
• Identify potential technical deviations, planning risks, or contractual changes and propose corrective actions.
• Review and comment on workshop plans related to pressure equipment and boiler components.

Requirements

• Vocational or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design projects for power generation plants.
• Minimum English level B2.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools, especially SolidWorks.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret international technical standards and engineering documentation.
• Good organizational, written communication, and teamwork skills.
• Valid work permit and residence in Spain.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ASME I, ASME VIII, and applicable European standards.
• Experience in designing industrial boilers and steam generation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Participation in international energy sector projects.
