Pricing/ Commercial Strategy Manager (w/m/d)

About the Position

IONOS is seeking a Pricing/ Commercial Strategy Manager (w/m/d) to develop and implement pricing and promotion strategies for their product families. As part of IONOS, Europe's leading hosting provider and pioneer for independent cloud solutions, you will shape the digital future for over 6.2 million customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Development and Implementation: Create and execute online pricing and promotion strategies to boost sales, profitability, customer acquisition, and market share.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and price analyses, and establish benchmarks to evaluate product and pricing positioning.
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and measure the success of pricing and promotion campaigns across various channels.
• Roadmap Development: Develop and manage pricing roadmaps in alignment with company goals.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze key commercial performance metrics and derive actions for deviations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other teams.
• Offer Development: Create target audience-specific offers and communications, and monitor market and competitive developments.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in pricing, marketing, or product management, preferably in the online, IT/technology sector.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in handling complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English and German, with proficiency in French or Spanish being a plus.
  • Experience and strong interest in using AI tools in daily work, such as generative AI for market analysis and data modeling.
  • Curious, open, and solution-oriented personality with an interest in a dynamic environment.
  • Structured, organized, and hands-on approach with good prioritization skills.
  • Strong team and communication skills, with a passion for collaborating with various stakeholders.
