We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.
About the Role
Critical Attributes
- Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration, and commissioning according to the CEA grid code compliance.
- Positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSCAD, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor of electrical engineering / power systems (Masters viewed favourably).
- 15+ years of industry experience, with PSCAD work experience viewed favourably.
- Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks.
- Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients.
- Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client.
- Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE.
- Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
