SGS’s C&P (Consumer and Products) services help businesses ensure product safety, quality, and compliance through testing, inspection, certification, and auditing-covering everything from manufacturing to distribution across various consumer goods sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver ATEX, UKEx, and IECEx certification activities in line with ISO 17025 and ISO 17065
• Act as a technical authority, providing guidance to clients and internal teams on certification requirements
• Support the Engineering Manager with team performance, utilisation targets, and project delivery (time, cost, scope)
• Drive continuous improvement across certification processes to enhance efficiency and client value
• Develop quotations, review certifications, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

Essential:

• Full Driving Licence for use in the UK
• Degree in Electronics
• ATEX, UKEx, and IECEx certification experience

Desirable:

• Supervision of Engineers
• Target setting and measurement
