- Collaborate with BCS Product Teams to implement Information Security Manual (ISM) and industry-standard controls, driving "secure-by-design" methodologies across all software, systems, and products.
- Spearhead product and system security Authorization and Assessment efforts.
- Lead threat analysis, risk assessments, and the development and implementation of security policies and audits to ensure the integrity of equipment, data, networks, and resources.
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams, industry, and the Commonwealth; proactively advocating for BCS cyber objectives and communicating complex security requirements to various stakeholders in a conscientious and inclusive manner.
- Mentor engineers in the principles of product security through teaching, guidance, and coaching.
About You

- Demonstrated experience in developing secure system networks in non-enterprise Defence environments.
- Demonstrated experience in application of system hardening techniques relevant to Linux or Microsoft-based products deployed in disconnected, non-enterprise environments.
- Superb communication skills and the ability to collaborate, educate, and influence within a multi-disciplined team.
- Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
It would also be highly desirable if you had the following additional experience and qualifications:
