We are currently seeking a Principal/Senior Technical Recruiter II to join our team in Torrance, California, United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic recruiting lead for one or more technical domains, with a specific focus on hiring Responsible Engineers.
• Identify, engage, and evaluate bar-raising technical depth and leadership while screening for strong alignment with Neros’ mission, values, and culture.
• Architect and execute bespoke, highly targeted sourcing strategies to engage top-tier senior candidates.
• Partner with senior engineering and technical leaders across Neros to shape hiring strategy, advise on talent market dynamics, and build the recruiting engine to continue growing our world-class technical team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in recruiting within high-performance environments such as hyper-growth startups, executive search, or venture capital.
• Exceptional track record of hiring senior hardware engineering talent.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to rapidly and effectively understand and evaluate candidates’ technical backgrounds and skills.
• Expert sourcing and research skills for senior talent, including market mapping, talent intelligence, outbound sequencing, referrals, and community-based strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and leverage recruiting analytics to drive decisions and process improvements.
• Ability to rapidly iterate, adapt, and ingest new information.
• A strong sense of mission and a desire to have impact at scale.
• US Person.

Nice to Have

• Technical background and skills and/or firsthand experience with drones.
• Experience working with or at high-growth, venture-backed startups.
• Experience with defense companies.

US Salary Range

$205,000 - $275,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
