RELEX is a fast-growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability, and cut waste. To achieve this, we use our in-house built terabyte-scale in-memory database, which stores tens of billions of rows of data.

We are looking for a Principle Field Presales expert for Manufacturing in Japan to join our team. You will provide solutions and supply chain industry guidance to RELEX account executives when closing new deals with prospective RELEX customers in the Manufacturing industry or expanding partnerships with existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions and supply chain industry guidance to RELEX account executives when closing new deals with prospective RELEX customers in the Manufacturing industry or expanding partnerships with existing ones.
• Support sales opportunities by demonstrating RELEX software strengths, consulting on supply chain process & solution design, ensuring prospects understand the business value of working with RELEX, and building confidence in the team’s ability to deliver on that business value.
• Support existing customer operations by providing continuity in pre-sales solution guidance to the RELEX operations team.

Requirements

• Ability to problem-solve on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Ownership, commitment, and a can-do attitude.
• Top-class communication skills.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience with a consumer-packaged goods manufacturer or consultancy/software provider focused on the Manufacturing and/or supply chain industry.
• Excellent understanding of RELEX’s key solution areas including Forecasting & Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, Master Production Scheduling, and S&OP.
• Willingness to travel in Japan and APAC if needed.
