About the Position
Private Banker - Client Portfolio Banker - Namur Luxembourg Brabant Wallon

Your Role and Work Environment
You are responsible for developing and optimizing commercial relationships with Private Banking clients in the provinces of Namur, Luxembourg, and Brabant Wallon, and for the growth of the business fund of major company and SME shareholders.
You will work within the Private Banking department of the Southern zone, comprising around fifty colleagues, including Private Bankers, Portfolio Managers, legal experts, and commercial assistants.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for a portfolio of Private Banking clients – mainly managing directors and owners of large and medium-sized companies – and its development, as well as the acquisition of new clients in your dedicated geographical area of the Liège province, including French and German-speaking clients.
- You are responsible for the overall technical and commercial approach to your clients' private wealth.
- You develop and optimize the commercial relationship with your clients and ensure retention, notably through wealth planning (with our specialized legal experts, the WAPs - Wealth Analysis & Planning).
- You monitor commercial relationships with new Private Banking clients and strengthen them by working closely with commercial network collaborators and our specialized legal experts.
- You invite and participate in public relations activities offered to clients and prospects.
- You build your own external network and regularly participate in professional events in this context.
- You work as part of a team.
- You easily establish contact with prospects.
- You optimize synergies with other departments within the bank by identifying sales leads and potential clients and referring them to the relevant commercial service (Business Banking, independent agents, Personal Banking, mortgages, etc.).
- You work closely with the various internal entities involved in the Private Banking business (Asset Management, Tax & Legal Experts).
Requirements
- A Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Approximately 3 years of professional and commercial experience, with a keen interest in Private Banking
- An enthusiastic desire to learn the Private Banking profession if specific experience is lacking
- Professional experience in investments and portfolio management
- Prospection skills
- Good knowledge of legal, tax, and financial matters (financial analysis)
- Good knowledge of Private Banking products and services
- Good knowledge of credit and risk management for Private Banking clients
- Good knowledge of common software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and a strong desire to develop client and personal digitalization
- Perfect knowledge of French and German, and preferably passive knowledge of English (use of tools and attendance at a few central meetings)
- Special skills for developing client relationships
- Organizational skills for administrative follow-up of the business and its commercial and regulatory constraints
- Ability to present complex subjects in a simple way
- Adaptability to any situation
