About the Position
PRN NRP Instructor
We are seeking a PRN NRP Instructor to join our team at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan. This role involves providing essential neonatal resuscitation training to healthcare professionals across the Munson Healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and skills testing for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) course for MHC employees.
- Possess good communication, teaching, and feedback skills.
- Teach at least two courses per year for Munson Healthcare.
- Travel to different locations for classes throughout the Munson Healthcare system.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical nursing, education, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a neonatal nurse, neonatal qualified RRT, Neonatal NP or PA, or physician working with neonatal patients required.
- Current NRP provider certificate required.
- Current NRP instructor certification preferred. Must obtain within six months of date of hire.
- Master’s degree preferred.

Additional Information
