PRN Pharmacist at Lee Health

Join Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL as a PRN Pharmacist. Dispense and monitor medications safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used throughout the facility.
Ensuring a safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups.
Direct supervision of technical support personnel.
Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.

Education: PharmD required or BS Pharmacy degree with equivalent and acceptable experience from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
Experience: Five years of professionally responsible pharmacist experience required for Bachelors degree holders. One year of recent inpatient hospital experience as staff pharmacist or pharmacy intern in a general medical/surgical hospital preferred for PharmD candidates.
License: State of Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Registered Pharmacist Licensure.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, data entry skills, analytical and basic math skills required.
