About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Process Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing automation solutions to optimize business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain internal automation tools and solutions, providing automation as a service to internal teams.
  • Analyze business and technical processes to identify automation opportunities with measurable impact.
  • Design scalable and reliable automation architectures, ensuring performance, fault tolerance, maintainability, and ease of extension.
  • Develop and support automated workflows using no/low-code platforms (e.g. n8n, Make) and custom code where required.
  • Build internal software and tooling solutions for teams, owning the full lifecycle from idea and requirements to implementation, rollout, and support.
  • Apply AI-assisted and AI-driven approaches (e.g. LLMs, AI coding tools, automation with AI agents) to accelerate development and improve solution quality.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to design solutions that fit real operational needs.
  • Act as a technical and process consultant for teams, advising on automation design, best practices, and optimal tool usage.
  • Ensure automation solutions are properly documented, observable, and supportable, including monitoring, logging, and failure handling.
  • Continuously improve existing automations and internal tools based on feedback, usage data, and changing business requirements.
  • Establish and evolve standards, guidelines, and best practices for internal automation and AI-assisted development.
  • Drive adoption of automation solutions across teams, supporting onboarding, knowledge sharing, and change management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in process management, operations, project or product management within a technology-driven or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in process design, implementation, and optimization across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the IT product lifecycle, from idea and discovery to implementation, release, and iteration.
  • Solid understanding of technical fundamentals, including system architecture basics, databases, data models, integrations, APIs, and system dependencies.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, product, QA, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with change management and organizational or operational transformation initiatives.
  • Practical experience with process automation, including no/low-code tools (e.g. n8n, Make) and/or scripting or custom code.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one process or delivery methodology (Agile, Kanban, Lean, BPMN); ability to apply frameworks pragmatically rather than dogmatically.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, tracking performance, and using insights to drive decisions.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership: ability to independently identify problems, remove blockers, research solutions, and learn new tools or technologies.
  • Strong appreciation for documentation, with a structured approach to creating, maintaining, and evolving process and system documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to clearly explain the purpose and impact of process or product changes.
  • Good English proficiency (written and spoken), sufficient for professional communication and documentation.

Nice to Have

  • Practical experience using Cursor or other AI-assisted development environments.
  • Presence of implemented solutions or projects (automations, internal tools, integrations, process improvements, prototypes, or production systems).
  • Experience applying AI-driven solutions to improve, automate, or optimize business or technical processes.
  • Background in iGaming, fintech, or other complex, high-load IT environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinking and systems mindset, understanding how processes and products interconnect across domains.
  • Change leadership, with the ability to drive and support adoption across teams.
  • Stakeholder management, building trust and aligning diverse expectations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking, quickly identifying root causes and proposing practical solutions.
  • Adaptability and resilience, thriving in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
  • Clear and structured communication, able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitation and collaboration skills, enabling productive discussions and joint problem-solving.
  • Curiosity and continuous learning, actively exploring new tools, approaches, and AI-driven improvements.
