About the Position
Process Engineer - Assembly
We are looking for a new colleague as Process Engineer - Assembly for our Wind Power Business at our location in Tianjin, China.
Responsibilities
As Process Engineer - Assembly, you can look forward to:
- Being the Process Owner for Assembly in ZF Wind Power Technology (ZFWPT).
- Handling new product introduction, process validation, and preparing process documents.
- Ensuring ZF quality requirements are met in assembly processes.
- Conducting day-to-day troubleshooting to ensure smooth production.
- Leading Safety, Productivity, Cost, and Quality improvement projects.
- Maintaining periodic reports on key technical parameters.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Transmission or heavy equipment Assembly processes.
- Expert knowledge of Limits and fits in Assembly, bearing clearances, preloads, and bolting technologies.
- Expertise in designing clamping and material handling equipment for Assembly processes.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, Windchill, Delmia, and MS Office Tools.
- Expert knowledge of Quality tools for problem-solving, e.g., 8D, 6-Sigma.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and working experience with ERP (SAP, MES). Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001-2015) is required.
- Language skills: Mandarin Chinese: Skilled, English: CET-4.
