About the Position

Process Engineer (Cold Preparation)

Continental Tyres (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled Process Engineer (Cold Preparation) to join our team. This role involves converting product and manufacturing requirements into process specifications, ensuring process performance, and implementing corrective actions to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Convert product and manufacturing requirements into process specifications.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve process performance.
• Manage recipes, create process documentation, and develop standard operating procedures.
• Participate in audits, develop improvement plans, and ensure productivity and quality.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce scrap, rework, and increase stability and efficiency.
• Conduct problem-solving, document lessons learned, and implement solutions.
• Support product and process industrialization according to plant and central release procedures.
• Conduct studies to monitor and document process stability.
• Create process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain capable, efficient, and stable production processes.
• Conduct process risk assessments and continuous improvement.
• Ensure immediate notification and response to unsafe or polluting hazards.
• Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years experience in tire manufacturing.
• 3 years experience in relevant areas such as Mixing, Preparation, Extrusion, Building, Curing, Final Finish, or Automotive industry.
• Project management knowledge.
• Managed a small group of employees for at least 2 years.
• Exposure to international projects or cross-cultural environments is ideal.
• Good command of English.
