Process Engineer (M/F/X)

We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer (M/F/X) to join our Energy center in Luxembourg. This role is a technical position that will also involve cooperation with the production side in terms of repair, maintenance, and optimization of equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of structural and functional monitoring of installations
• Energy balance monitoring of energy production facilities
• Active participation in start-up and operator staff training on a new boiler facility
• Adjustment of technology process parameters and machine parameters
• Supervision of the efficiency of the process, and of all activities carried out by subordinate employees to ensure their correctness
• Support the Energy manager in achieving production objectives
• Monthly reporting preparation and review

Additionally, this role includes responsibility for organizing, preparing, and conducting tasks while ensuring that the team is working safely and under the best working environment.

R&D Responsibilities

• Creation of the policy focused on the development of the research and development area
• Development, implementation, and execution of R&D strategies
• Operational management by developing and supervising the implementation of cooperation with external research units
• Implementation of research and development works aimed at optimizing production processes by improving quality, efficiency, and other production indicators

Requirements

• Engineering diploma
• Previous experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company
• Independent command of MS Office
• Readiness to undertake several business trips
• Ability to synchronize tasks, work under pressure, and maintain good organization
• Fluency in English and French, with German being a serious plus
