About the Position
Process Engineer (m/f/x) Methods-Time Measurement (REFA & MTM)
Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer specializing in REFA & MTM methods. This role involves developing timing standards, analyzing processes, and proposing improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Establish timing standards (REFA and MTM)
- Work directly on the shop floor to analyze assembly and machining processes
- Set realistic target standard times
- Make suggestions for improvements to reduce production cycle times
- Carry out multi-point analyses to identify waste and propose concrete improvements
- Map the value stream (VSM) in collaboration with shop floor teams
- Train and support operators and managers in adopting the new standards and methods
- Document processes to ensure operational continuity and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Higher education qualification (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or as a production engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience in time studies (such as REFA methods) and implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and associated tools: 5S, VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, DMAIC, etc.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and proficient with data analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Minitab).
- Fluent in French and very good knowledge of English (B2).
- Rigorous, methodical, and analytical with excellent team spirit.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have
- Additional training in Lean Management, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or equivalent qualification.
