About the Position
Process Expert - Financial Markets Client Control – Change Epic owner
The epic owner holds end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of so-called epics (change) including the hand over to the Business-as-Usual team. As an epic owner:
- You support the Head of Change in the delivery of epics in the change portfolio.
- You are part of an international self-steering team to deliver and implement the epics in an Agile Way of Working and in accordance with the ING’s orange code.
- You have in-depth knowledge and experience in financial products, processes, and related regulations.
- You take full accountability of the efficient delivery of the epics you are responsible for, including timely delivery and the quality assurance aspects.
Responsibilities
As an Epic owner:
- You are end-to-end responsible for Epics (including updates on status / progress and impediment).
- You create Epic related documents and pro-actively manage all stakeholders (both FMCC and non-FMCC) that are involved in the realization of the epics.
- You estimate BAU impact in terms of capacity and knowledge with the Process managers.
- You take part in the team stand-ups, refinement, retrospective and planning sessions.
- You are setting clear priorities in the Epic delivery.
- You transfer change to our execution locations in Bratislava and Manila following correct governance including sign-off from the COE, second line parties and execution locations.
- You hold in-depth knowledge on FM regulations (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR etc.) to deliver regulatory changes.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and experience in financial products, processes, and related regulations.
- Ability to work in an international self-steering team.
- Strong understanding of Agile Way of Working and ING’s orange code.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
