Your Mission
As a Process Manager IT Logistics, you will support the Process Owner IT Logistics in the comprehensive management and optimization of IT-supported logistics processes. Your focus will be on identifying process gaps, closely supporting Superusers on the shop floor, and providing operational support for system rollouts (e.g., TMS). Your goal is to stabilize and standardize our rapidly growing operational processes (from goods receipt and storage to kitting for production and transport management and shipping) to achieve the company's scaling objectives.
Responsibilities
- Detailed recording, analysis, and documentation of existing logistics processes directly on-site in the hall (shop floor shadowing) and in the transport area to identify weaknesses.
- Development of requirement specifications, detailed concepts, and functional specifications based on global target processes.
- Operational support, coordination, and implementation of system rollouts (e.g., introduction of a transport management system) and complex IT process implementations.
- Preparation and execution of detailed system tests (User Acceptance Testing) and operational support during data migrations and master data quality checks.
- Training and coordination of ERP and logistics Superusers in operational areas and creation of pragmatic user guides.
- Taking over Level-2 application support and daily troubleshooting for system blockages in warehouse logistics, material preparation (kitting), and transport management to relieve the strategic area.
- Central coordination of logistics business requirements with our internal NetSuite consultants and management of external partners (e.g., TMS software providers).
- Support in conducting process audits to ensure compliance with guidelines, quality, and processes.
Qualifications
- Completed degree (e.g., Business Informatics, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering) or comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in process management, IT project management, or logistics IT, ideally in an agile, rapidly growing environment.
- In-depth expertise in logistics processes (supply chain management, material flow, warehousing, kitting, transport management, and shipping/customs).
- Solid IT understanding and a very quick comprehension to quickly familiarize yourself with new logistics IT systems (e.g., Oracle Netsuite WM/EWM, TMS, WMS, or comparable industry solutions) and the motivation to deeply familiarize yourself with new software environments.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve system and process weaknesses.
- Strong communication and moderation skills as well as diplomatic assertiveness in dealing with operational users, shift supervisors, and internal partners.
- High degree of initiative, resilience in a dynamic scale-up environment, and a structured, goal-oriented approach ("hands-on mentality").
- Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing.
