Process/ Senior Process Engineer - Pipeline & Heat Treatment process (HcP/MFE2.12)

About the Position

We are seeking a Process/ Senior Process Engineer for the Pipeline & Heat Treatment process at Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. in Long Thanh, Dong Nai, Vietnam. Bosch has been operating in Vietnam since 1994 and has been a wholly-owned subsidiary since 2008. The company's business strategy led to the merger of all business entities into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. in 2014, with its head office at the Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and revise ODS (Operational Documentation Set) to instruct Operators according to standards defined in ODS, which complies with P-FMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and CP (Control Plan).
• Update and maintain P-FMEA of the own process (seek advice from a senior engineer if difficulties arise).
• Implement changes and improvements based on the existing process/ MAE (Machine and Equipment) / parts (with or without ECR (Engineering Change Request)) for Cycle time, quality, safety, and cost.
• Execute and follow up on tasks/projects (FAT - Factory Acceptance Test, SAT - Site Acceptance Test) under the instruction and management of others.
• Handle internal customer complaints about quality (from MFOx - Manufacturing Operations).
• Optimize the existing MAE to adapt/improve safety for operation.
• Solve product quality problems with existing tools and known reaction plans. Small changes can be made.
• Maintain process capacity (CT - Cycle time, Reject rate) in response to current targets (TAC) with defined methods.
• Share practical experience with colleagues.
• Use existing documents and procedures to cooperate with TEF3 (Technical Function) colleagues to solve MAE issues.
• Understand the status of Cpk (Process Capability Index) of the characteristics of the own process (if applicable).
• Comprehend and maintain the existing SPC (Statistical Process Control) system in the plant (HcP). Apply SPC in accordance with Work Instruction (WI). Able to explain an SPC report or chart (if applicable).
• Perform other tasks assigned by the leader.

Requirements

• Education: Engineer/Bachelor in Material/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic.
• Work Experience:
  • At least 1 year in manufacturing as a Process Engineer is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge about process control such as PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC/CPK.
  • Experience with systematic problem-solving is preferred.
