Procurement Executive (m/f/d)

About the Position

in-tech, a dynamic engineering company specializing in electronics and software for the past 20 years, is seeking a Procurement Executive/Buyer with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Based in Germany, this role involves supporting procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the continuity of supply across all business areas.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for a wide range of categories across the company, with a focus on indirect, non-stock items and services.
• Creating and tracking purchase orders to ensure continuity of supply across all business areas.
• Building, maintaining, and further developing supplier relationships, including pricing and contract negotiations.
• Maintaining accurate supplier and procurement data.
• Working closely with operations and service teams to support the engineering teams in their delivery.
• Supporting the German purchasing team with all day-to-day activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a procurement or buyer role.
• Experience with SAP, ideally with the S/4HANA module, or another ERP system.
• Excellent business-level English and strong communication skills; you have a confident manner and enjoy working with stakeholders at all levels and across all departments.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Solid experience with MS Excel as well as all other Microsoft tools.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• And above all: you are a team player, open-minded, and have a positive attitude towards challenges.
