Procurement Manager

Our Client

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Sourcing

  • Develop purchasing plan based on production requirements
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and alternative materials
  • Monitor market trends and raw material prices to support purchasing decisions

• Supplier & Cost Management

  • Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure supply continuity and manage potential supply risks
  • Develop alternative suppliers for key materials

• Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements

• Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with procurement SOPs and documentation requirements

• Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead the procurement team to achieve departmental KPIs, cost-saving targets, and operational targets
  • Work closely with Planner, Production, QA, R&D, Finance, and other departments
  • Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to Management

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Good understanding of raw materials purchasing, inventory management, and supply planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with good record-keeping and documentation skills
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
