Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations for our organization.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved procedures.
• Source suppliers, request quotations, and perform price and commercial comparisons.
• Coordinate with end users to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Support contract administration and renewal tracking.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing in coordination with stakeholders.
• Assist in supplier performance evaluation and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 2-5 years of proven experience in procurement roles.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and build relationships with suppliers.
• Proficiency in procurement software and in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and international trade regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Saudi Arabian business practices preferred.
