Procurement Specialist

About the Position

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. This role is focused on the purchase of renovation works in Facilities and Non-ICT spend categories. The position is for a period of 3 months from 29/09/2026 to 31/12/2026.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal customers within Credendo’s business lines to gather and globalise their needs.
• Support internal customers in their procurement processes and help determine the best procurement strategy.
• Explore the market, develop a network of suppliers, and track down business opportunities.
• Manage the procurement process from the determination of operational needs to the negotiation and conclusion of contracts with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, different rules and regulations, and CSR objectives.
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the best value for money and defend Credendo’s interests.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to meet quality standards, delivery deadlines, and general conditions.
• Report on dossiers related to Facilities renovation works in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

• Languages:
  • English: Full professional proficiency
  • Dutch: Full professional proficiency
  • French: Full professional proficiency
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement
• Skills:
  • Analytical and synthetic mind
  • Critical attitude
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Fluent in dealing with stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Drive for ownership and results
  • Result-driven and customer-oriented
  • Good listener and adaptable to different situations
  • High level of integrity and strong sense of procurement ethics
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude
  • Hands-on mentality
• Knowledge:
  • Familiar with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
