Procurement Supervisor

About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Procurement Supervisor to manage procurement operations and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day procurement operations and allocate tasks to procurement officers.
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved procedures.
• Review purchase requisitions, RFQs, evaluations, and purchase orders within authority limits.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal commercial terms and cost savings.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contracts, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and end users to align procurement planning.
• Monitor supplier performance and address escalation issues.
• Support contract drafting, review, and renewal processes.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and KPI tracking for management.
• Coach and develop procurement officers to improve performance and compliance.
• Support strategic sourcing and vendor consolidation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 5-10 years of proven experience in procurement roles.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and build relationships with suppliers.
• Proficiency in procurement software and in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and international trade regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Saudi Arabian business practices preferred.
