About the Position

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our manufacturing team in Kyiv, Ukraine. The majority of procurement activities are focused on Ukraine (approximately 70%), with additional work involving international suppliers, primarily from China and, less frequently, from the USA and Europe.

Preference will be given to candidates with military service experience or veteran status.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full procurement cycle of electronic components, materials, and equipment from Europe, Asia, and the USA for R&D and serial production needs.
• Maintaining and optimizing the BOM, including alternative component sourcing and systematic cost reduction efforts.
• Working with international suppliers and distributors.
• Building and developing a supplier and distributor base through both official channels and alternative markets.
• Managing contractors, including order placement, production control, and timely shipment monitoring.
• Controlling deliveries in terms of deadlines, quality, pricing, documentation, and contracts.
• Managing orders and inventory in ERP systems to minimize supply disruption risks.
• Planning and managing delivery risks and stock levels.
• Organizing logistics, including delivery timelines, routes, documentation, and cost optimization.
• Close collaboration with R&D, Production, and QA teams to ensure product stability and quality.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement or sourcing of electronics for R&D or manufacturing.
• Strong skills in working with technical specifications, finding alternatives, and sourcing substitute components.
• Experience in cost optimization and procurement savings.
• Practical experience working with international suppliers and distributors.
• Confident use of Excel or Google Sheets, and experience with ERP systems.
• English proficiency sufficient for written communication with suppliers.
• High level of proactivity, structure, and accountability.
