Join our team as a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
- Provides objective evidence of results
- Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring
- Identifies and documents discrepancies
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
Requirements
- Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
- 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
- 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
- Must be able to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel
Nice to Have
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
- 787 Program Experience
- Experience in a team environment
- Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
