Product Analyst

About the Position

Our mobile games have hundreds of millions of downloads worldwide, and some exciting new titles are coming soon. We seek a talented professional who thrives at the intersection of Product Analytics and Game Economy, engaging in data-driven decision-making and product analysis to enhance the gaming economy. You will create fun and engaging game experiences while maximizing player retention and revenues. You will be a crucial part of the analytics team, collaborating closely with the development, data, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to understand user interactions and enhance the game economy.
• Track Daily KPIs, trends, and user behavior to optimize game economy dynamics.
• Identify growth opportunities to improve feature adoption, retention, engagement, and monetization strategies.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance player experience and game economy.
• Understand gameplay loops and how players interact with them.
• Tune the performance of existing features by devising A/B tests and analyzing their effectiveness.
• Adjust sinks/sources to maximize engagement, retention, and revenue.

Requirements

• 2+ years of analytical work experience, preferably as a Game economist in the gaming industry.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant degree.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and excellent skills in Excel - a must!
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable self-starter with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with big data tools and analytics suites (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Firebase, BigQuery, Snowflake, Unity Analytics, deltaDNA).
• Experience with scripting language tools - Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience in the game industry.
• Previous experience working closely with game developers, ideally inside a team.
