Our Graduate Development Program is a three-year journey designed for recent graduates who look beyond the obvious, challenge existing processes, and are driven to automate and reinvent the way things work.
The program is structured into 4 progressive phases, each with distinct learning objectives. Tasks evolve according to your abilities and interests, ensuring the experience is as individual as you are.
From day one, you join ION on a full-time permanent contract, carry real accountability on live projects, and be paired with senior professionals who guide your development throughout the entire journey.
Responsibilities
Across phases, you will work at different stages of the product lifecycle - from discovery to launch - gaining exposure to a wide range of teams, challenges, and methodologies. Your work will include:
- Conducting user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to generate actionable insights
- Mapping user journeys and service blueprints to identify friction and improvement opportunities
- Designing wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups aligned to brand standards and user expectations
- Collaborating with product managers, developers, and operations teams to deliver consistent end-to-end experiences
- Presenting solutions, gathering feedback, and iterating based on real-world data
Requirements
- Master's degree in Product Design, Service Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field - obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record
- Written and spoken English at B2 level or above
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non-EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit
Salary
€33,000 - €38,000 a year
